你应该先和公司说好,或先辞职。现在你只有和公司谈赔偿了。准证要在一个月内领(待确定)的,否则作废。有点奇怪,旧的没有割,新的为什麽会下来?
那么旧的准证即时作废了,就不用再为旧雇主工作了。你要考虑如何赔偿旧雇主了,如合约上有通知,他们又一定要较真,怕对你的新准证有不利,要好好商量。
请先CHECK公司的合同,是不是注明了需要两个月,如果没有,请参考下面的辞职通知期限,最多4个星期:

A: An employer or an employee can terminate a contract of service.
The party who intends to terminate the contract must give notice to the other party. The notice period to be given depends on what is agreed in the written contract. If there is no written contract, the notice period to be given depends on what the parties have agreed upon verbally.
In the event that there is no such period previously agreed upon, the following shall apply:
Length of Service Notice Period
Less than 26 weeks 1 day
26 weeks to less than 2 years 1 week
2 years to less than 5 years 2 weeks
5 years and above 4 weeks
The length of notice to be given by an employee (in a resignation) and an employer (in a termination of employment) are the same. Such notice must be given in writing. The day on which the notice is given shall be included in the notice period.

我现在也在换工作。。。新的准证正在申请中,之前和雇主的合同上说辞职要给2个月的违约金。。。。可是我现在的雇主真的很差。。。我真不想赔给她。。愁啊。。。。
