阎崇年来新演讲

About Prof Yan Chong NianMr Yan is a well-known and highly regarded Chinese Historian that specialises in Ming and Qing Dynasties as well as Beijing History. He is also a well-respected researcher of the Beijing Social Sciences Institute and is the current Chairman of the Beijing-Machuria Research Institute, the Vice-President of the Chinese Forbidden City Society. Mr Yan initiated and helped established the Beijing Social Sciences Institute, the Beijing Machuria Research Institute, Beijing Machu Research foundation (the first official academic institution that focused on the Manchu history).
Mr Yan is also one of the few highly demanded speakers at the country-wide national television platform (China Central Television, a State-owned Enterprise) in the popular series known as “Lecture Room” (百家讲坛). (1st Edm) Date: 25 March 2010, Thursday Time: 11am to 2pm
