如题，办理小孩 PR, 请问要小孩亲自去办吗？ 小孩现在国内
according to the letter:
1. make appointment to ica
2. bring approval letter
3. Bring Valid passport
4. 4 color photo
5. my passport and Re-entry permit
6 medical report (below 15 year no need)
7 $100
seems i can collect the Entry permit and the kids not necessary be here, so I just do 1, and bring 2/3/4/5/7 to ICA and that will be OK right
For passport, that must be original so need to arrange to mail it, for photo can we just take in China and mail here, any problem?
for Re-entry permit application, I just apply for him also ok right.

不过，有些人去问了，必须小孩在，等等。先去试试吧小孩子需要去的，當然只是看一眼，如果能“借”到和你孩子一樣的，可能也可以。
對了，還是不行，因為要查“小孩子”的護照，并且要在黃紙上注明你的單次入境簽證用了沒有。把小孩的护照寄来，你拿去ICA办手续，可以拿到entry permit，还会给一个有效期半年的签证，你小孩半年内要过来办正式的手续和拿REP。如果在新加坡可以不带去，但是你的在国内，所以不可以办的，我们之前就是这样，等孩子回来了才给办是的， 只能办部分counter 说，最好孩子带去，否则说不准点，看 officer 的态度,

Entry Permit本身就是包括一个半年的签证，超过半年就失效了等了半年多。。。
