SINGAPORE: Door and shutter manufacturer GDS Global has launched its initial public offering (IPO) for a Catalist listing.
The IPO comprises 12 million new shares – which are expected to raise net proceeds of S$1.43 million for the company – and 5.5 million vendor shares.
According to a media statement, the Singapore-based company says it plans to acquire new machinery and equipment as well as fund product development activities.
The company manufactures door and shutter systems for various industries which include hospitality, security and defence.
Some of its projects include the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, Resorts World Sentosa and the Marina Bay Financial Centre.
A recent Euromonitor report ranked GDS Global as the leading commercial and industrial door manufacturer in Singapore for the period of 2010 to 2012.
The company says it also plans to expand its operations in the Middle East and Taiwan.
The company reported a full-year revenue of S$13.8 million and net profit of S$2.7 million in 2012.
