查了一下养正小学的排名，2009年的时候大概是排名第20，是按照Academic Exellence排的，这个Academic Exellence排名能反映学校的教学质量吗，还是有几个优秀的学生把学校的排名提升了？多谢了！
儿子明年要报名了，养正和海星小学，哪所小学比较好？想跟坛子里的爸爸妈妈们请教一下。顺便说一下，我们距离这两所学校都是2公里之内。
养正是一所不错的小学，但PSLE整体成绩和海星还是有一段明显的差距。
海星的英文水平很高（不亚于名校）；养正的华文很强。
海星中学今年的对外录取分数线为232。但如果是海星小学的学生，226分就够格了。

公教去年2C阶段的报名率为234%，海星是123%，养正是130%。
新政策的结果还很难预料，但应该不会对公教这样的名校的抽签率造成太大的影响；海星周围组屋较少，而且是教会学校，因此也应该影响不大；真正受到冲击的应该是养正。
以上均为猜测。今年的小一报名实在是个技术活儿。。。
是啊，给孩子小学报名真的是很头痛的一件事，看着周围认识的人的孩子有没有在名校读书真的是有很大的差别。那个名校的孩子学习态度就是端正阿。所以去年就去我家附近2公里以内的名校报名做义工但是悲剧。 所以终于说服我老公让孩子明年报海星，虽然不是非常好的学校但总算是属于中上游学校了，希望儿子可在海星游刃有余。
哦对了顺便想问一些关于GEP 的东西，是否每个小三的孩子都要参加GEP考试？ 新加坡拿一些小学有GEP？
是的，每一个小三的孩子都会参加GEP考试
考试分两轮，第一轮好像通过5000人，第二轮录取500人
这500人分到9所开GEP班的学校，分别是
南洋，南华，乐赛，恒力，莱复士女小，道南，圣希而达，英华，公教
学习了。
我有两处房子，一处距离公教一公里内，另一处距离海星1.5公里。如果父亲的身份证地址是距离公教近的，我的身份证的地址离海星近的。用父亲的在2B阶段报公教，如果抽签没中，在2C用我的报海星或是养正，这种可行吗？先谢过了。
报名时父母双方的身份证都要用。所以你的方法可能不可行。

去年PSLE的最高成绩是264。
Serangoo 實龍岡附近的 Zhonghua (中華) 去年的PSLE成績非常亮眼。
最高分270分，265分以上的有9人，260分以上的有13人。
没想到中华成绩这么好，是这两年才这样好？还是—直这样好？我在kiausu parents里看到zhong hua的排名，很靠后呀，这是怎么回事？
从Top pupils来看，养正实际上是个还不错的邻里小学。
中华是去年才窜上去的，把那10位学生照片贴养正附近，够气人的，呵呵。
找到一个贴，以前中华的平均PLSE不好呀. 2007年204, 2006年199.

找到一个贴，2010年海星的平均PLSE是222, 还是很不错滴， 和kiausu parents里的排名是相符的，排在培华，Pei Chun之后，和Chong Fu差不多。想给孩子报这个学校了，但愿明年的Phase2B，两公里之内，不用抽签。决定要给孩子报哪间学校真是太难了，从09年就到处看房子，搬家。好不容易搬了，发现心宜的小学，不是在一公里之内就能进的，然后又在到处寻找容易进的小学，发简历做义工(光写我和老公的简历就花了一个月时间呀，说实在的找工作时我都没花这么多时间写简历), 希望这次能如愿。

中華換新校長了，作風已跟之前大大不同。
孩子是公民，老公天主教。住家在1.5公里，2010年以前phase2B是不需要抽签的，所以我才考虑这间学校。想看看今年的2B情况，不行的话，再买一公里之内的公寓。
今年海星2B 不需要抽签。:)
