不能，可以申请WP和SP或EP工作。可以让你长时间呆在新加坡。这就是SP的DP的最大用处。

Spouses of Employment Pass holders can work in Singapore. The spouse may consider working on an Employment Pass. Prevailing eligibility criteria will have to be met. Alternatively, spouses on Dependant’s Pass may also work on a Letter of Consent from MOM. The employer with whom the spouse has secured a job is to submit the application for an Employment Pass or a Letter Of Consent.

只有under EP的DP才可以申请LOC的哦。。。
A Letter of Consent allows a Dependant’s Pass holder to work in Singapore. To be eligible, the applicant must:
be a Dependant of an Employment Pass holder
secure a job offer with a Singapore employer
have a Dependant’s Pass that is valid for at least three months.
