As part of periodic updating, MOM has reviewed the qualifying salary criteria for work passholders to qualify for dependant privileges. This is to ensure that main pass holders are ableto upkeep their dependants in Singapore.
From 1 January 2018:
Work pass holders need to meet a minimum fixed monthly salary of $6,000 to bringin their spouse/children (on Dependant’s Pass).
Work pass holders need to meet a minimum fixed monthly salary of $12,000 to bringin their parents (on Long Term Visit Pass).
New Dependant’s Pass (DP) applications for spouse/children and Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP)applications for parents received before 1 January 2018 will be assessed on existing criteria.Renewal DPs/LTVPs approved or issued before 1 January 2018 will also be assessed onexisting criteria as long as the main pass holder holds a valid work pass with the sameemployer.

好像大家的阅读能力并没有问题啊。。。
关键问题在于如何理解那个privilege。
我们来看看EP的要求，Earn a fixed monthly salary of at least $3,600 (more experienced candidates need higher salaries). 这个就没有写privilege对吧。所以就是必须达到这个标准才行。
而家属准证的，加了privilege，我个人感觉这是个软杠杠，而不是硬杠杠。达到6k，优先考虑，并不是不到6k就一概不考虑。
如果有谁有之前5k的条文，可以对照看一下就更容易理解了。
不是呀。。。你复制的那段点那个more information里面能看得到关于这个所谓的privilege。。。

A3 The changes will only apply to new DP/LTVP applications made on or after 1 Jan 2018.
To reduce disruption to families already here or arriving soon, DP/LTVPs that are
issued or approved before 1 Jan 2018 will remain valid as long as the main pass
holder has a valid EP/S Pass.
Dependants who renew their passes on or after 1 Jan 2018 will not be affected
provided the main pass holder remains with the same employer.

I change employer?
A4 We treat any change in employer as a new application. If you change employer from
1 Jan 2018, you will have to meet the revised salary criteria to retain your dependant
privileges.

第三个问题说只要不换雇主，实际上不受影响？政府是希望EP的LTVP PASS父母回去。
那就不换雇主不就行了
我觉得这应该主要是对中国人或者印度人吧，必须要6000和12000，如果去马来西亚人,就加了privilege。
