原来在新加坡,做二房东是非法的。

There are also restrictions on who can sublet their flats.
Only Singapore citizens can sublet flats after meeting the minimum occupation period of 3 or 5 years. Singapore PRs are not permitted to sublet their flats.
According to this information, the PRC couple may have rented the flat legally from a Singapore Citizen owner, but are clearly not authorized to further sublet the flat.
Infact, the Singapore Citizen who had rented out this flat is likely to be the one liable as HDB puts the responsibility on the flat owner:
As a flat owner subletting your flat, you will be responsible for:
•Making sure the flat is sublet to eligible subtenants only
•Making sure that there is no overcrowding and the number of subtenants does not exceed the maximum number allowed
•Making sure that your subtenants have entered and are remaining in Singapore lawfully at all times (while the subletting is in force)
•Making sure that your subtenants do not further sublet the flat to other persons
•Making sure that your subtenants comply with all the covenants in the lease and the provisions of the Housing & Development Act and that you are responsible for all infringements, if any, committed by them
刚刚读到这个HDB内容。 只能简单的解释新加坡PR买了房子是不能租房间给人。
二房东不能租了整套房子, 或租房间给人。
所有在租房间的人最好查一查, 如果被新加坡政府发现了。房子可能会被收会,屋主将面对法律。 二房东可能跑人。倒时你所付的首期被二房东拿跑了。又零时找不到房间。 你将面对很多问题。

这个。。。。没办法的,如果新加坡禁止转租房间,谁能租的起?

二房东,房东,中介定期更新租客信息给HDB,技术上讲是二房东和房客合租房东租屋。。。

楼主说的flat是公寓,不是组屋

公寓是私人地产。政府组屋却是政府津贴。 所以这些规则都是属于HDB flat.

PR不可以整套出租,房间还是可以的。。。
二房东倒是什么人都不可以,虽然市面上要多少有多少。
不要妖魔化房东或二房东。无论是房东二房东都有好人也都有极品。
总而言之,这就是命啊

谢谢各位。总之最后受苦都是那些房客。虽然有的访客也是极品。不过很多也是受害者。零时被逼搬迁。。。首期被没收。二房东跑人。 还有很多事情。 导致访客需要被逼马上搬走。
种种事情。最好先查清楚。
有的中介也只是想赚你的钱,根本不会去理会你倒霉不倒霉。

说句公道话:没有人投诉的话,HDB很多时候都默许了一些违法租房现象。新加坡劳工众多,加上本地房屋短缺。有多少公寓里面,一个房间塞6张床的。
