0212 GMT [Dow Jones] Mediaring (M09.SG) gaps up at opening, last +44.4% at almost 2-year high of S$0.26 on huge volume, as players bet Internet telephony firm will be takeover target following proposed entry of new management team. India-based Spice Innovation Technologies seeking to buy 18.8%-20.1% of Mediaring from existing major holder Venture One, company’s three executive directors, few other employees. Current management team will be replaced by Spice executives post-exercise. Buyer hasn’t revealed intention for Mediaring, but one tech analyst says Spice may be gearing up for backdoor listing; “my suspicion is they may raise their stake up to 30% and launch a general offer for the rest of the company. They need control first before they can do any asset injection. Mediaring hasn’t really performed. With others like Skype and Google providing free (online) talk services, it may be difficult for them to last.” Mediaring’s 1H09 net profit down 11.8% on-year at US$410,000 on weaker revenue. 今天已经涨了44.4%,在消息还没有出来的之前就要进场，先知先觉，等他大涨就抛掉。
真正等到消息出来，已经大涨了，人家都开始套现了，就不宜追进去。
所以说，股市里面赚钱的永远是小部分人。那些晓得内幕消息的极少部分人。
