Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a regulatory compliance program and conduct regular operations compliance review throughout the various operations units
Review and update internal rules, policies and guidelines to meet best practice regulatory and industry standards. Undertakes periodic assessment of the branch’s compliance risk with recommendations to enhance internal controls to mitigate these risks.
Ensure staff’s compliance with relevant statutory legislations and guidelines and the Company’s internal control policies and procedures and ensures that any deviation is approved by delegated Authority.
Undertake transaction monitoring and analysis and suspicious transaction reporting. Administer Compliance policies and procedures database.
Conduct investigation into non-compliance of Bank procedures, fraud and complaints in a fair and timely manner.
Prepare monthly reports and trend analysis on the branch’s AML compliance activities, fraud, breaches of internal policies etc, to local management.
Review and conduct business continuity plans
Other ad-hoc duties or projects.
