律师的来信有这么一句:
Please note that on the day of completion, you are required to pay to the sellers the apportionment of property tax. We shall let you know the exact amount payable to the sellers after the completion as the HDB officer will only calculate the apportionment on the spot. However, there will be no receipt issued to you as the said monies are to be paid to the sellers directly.
需要支付的。到时候会当着officer的面给的

谢谢答复。可是HDB网站上是这样写的:
Pay Service & C**ervancy Charges and Property Tax
The lessee selling his flat in the open market must pay the service & c**ervancy charges and property tax up to the date of the resale completion.
On the day of the resale completion at the HDB Resale Office, the lessee (seller) must produce the official receipts for full payment of service & c**ervancy charges and property tax.
明明是卖家的责任,请问为何要买家付呢?

你仔细看看,有没有看到这句话:
property tax up to the date of the resale completion.
也就是卖家只是要把property的钱给到第二次面试的时候,而不是给一年的。
通常卖家在年头就会把1年的property tax给完了。所以当你变成屋主的时候,你就需要承担后面的property tax了。

有点明白了。
是买家把卖家多付的税退还给卖家吗?比如说,卖家已付12月的税,如果二次见面在六月三十日,那么买家就退还卖家6个月的物业税,是这样吗?

对的。这个你不用担心的,带点现金去。到时候officer会告诉你多少钱的,给钱拿钥匙。

要带现金去。除了这个要还给卖家,还有门牌钱也要现金支付给卖家,门牌好像是百多块钱,记不得了。当着HDB的长 官 给。
我在first appointment的时候,HDB officer说second appointment 可以不用去,让律师去办手续拿钥匙就可以了,产业税倒是有说到要退部分给屋主,是这样的吗?
就是门牌税,算到12月底,看看你从什么时候开始接手的,后面的钱你就退给卖家。
