儿子答的： 80×5 +80 = 480
答案是： 80 /5 + 80 = 96
我觉得儿子对， 我的理解对 吗？
2) Which one of the following numbers, when added to 3178, will allow regrouping of the ones and hundreds?
1) 6732 2) 6597 3) 5914 4) 5832
我和儿子都搞不懂 what is “allow regrouping of the ones and hundreds”?
对，就是对英文的理解。
第二题答案是 3）5914， 不懂为什么?

第一道我认为是96。
第二道理解是个位与百位要进位
3178+5914=9092
3871+5419=9290
仔细看，就知道“regrouping”了！
purple_shaw 应该是对的， “allow regrouping of the ones and hundreds” 是在个位和百位上进位。doueyuan可能是指个位和百位上交换？答案4没选是因为十位上也进位了？

我想 pruple_shaw 和三十三楼应该是对的。
第一题答案应该是96。一份的rose 是80除以5=16。加上一份orchid, 共6份，6X16=96。
第2题同意purple_shaw，但我认为考小3孩子这样的问题挺无聊的。
我认为： 根据加法原理，运算时，个位加个位得个位，白位加百位得百位，个位“group”和百位”group”对调位置，就是”regrouping.”
呵呵，仔细看，是这样的，这是一个有趣的数字现象，象数字黑洞一样的有趣的现象而已。
regrouping的由来应该是这样的：
7ones + 5 ones= 12 ones, (regroup) –>1 ten 2 ones;
7tens + 5 tens = 12 tens, (regroup) –> 1 hundred 2 tens

five ~s as many (much） as …
…五倍于…
答案是：96

以前做这种题，头脑里就在骂“疯子！”:lol
还有那只爬墙的“笨蜗牛”，也没少挨骂－－
每个小时爬2米，又掉下来1米，爬10米的墙花多长时间？
咋这蜗牛每次掉下来，正好掉下来;P1米呢？
