Daisy had 3/4 as much money as Vijay after spending $25 on a bag.
Daisy had 3/4 as much money as Vijay after spending $25 on a bag.
1. Daisy has $x initially, eg. $100
2. He spent $25 on a bag, so he has $ now as = x – 25, which is 100 – 25 = $75
3. His money is 3/4 of Vijay now, which means Vijay’s = ( x – 25 ) * 4 / 3 = 75 * 4 / 3 = $100
After spending $25 on a bag, Daisy had 3/4 as much money as Vijay.
Daisy
Daisy
