分享一年内两次终止Aviva保单经历,想说选你真的很难…(人寿)
本来家里住院医疗和房屋人寿保单都是在Aviva,可是今年发生的事情,让我不得不做出新的选择。

首先来说说房屋人寿保单的情况吧:-

房屋人寿保单是当初拿DBS fixed loan强制要求购买的,锁定3年,我和先生两个人每个月加起来超过sgd100保费,全年1200++。今年2月做refinance贷款配套从DBS 转到OCBC的时候,问题来了:-

在1月提前通知DBS的时候,就问起这份强制保险要如何处理。DBS给的答复是:虽然是配套强制要求的保险,但是不由他们负责,有问题直接咨询保险公司。
随后,aviva答复是:你可以把这份保单看成普通的人寿保险,跟哪家银行拿贷款没有关系,反正它是拿来保证你屋子贷款的,类似HPS,只要继续缴费,就会继续有保障。
既然可以继续持有,那就作为人寿保单吧,继续缴费吧。

3月签新贷款合同的时候,惊讶的发现DBS贷款额度才320K+,可是保单的保额高达400K。为什么会签高出这么多保额的保单,已经没有什么印象了。但是可以肯定的说,当初的确有被忽悠的成分在里面。只是仍然还记得那时候,银行指定的经纪说买这份保险比CPF HPS怎么好怎么好…如同当初不知道为什么,会签了35年的贷款合同一样。
再次致电aviva, 要求降低保额,并缩短年限同新贷款的年限一致。他们仅同意降低保额单不能缩短保险年限,但是可以随时终止,需要本人申请。也就是说我和先生两人要分别打电话申请。没问题,我就先降低自己的保额吧,随后收到新的statement和保费变更通知。按新保费继续缴费…

大约在5月初和5月中,分别收到CPF寄来的我和先生两人HPS保费通知单,全年保费已经从OA账户扣除(全年sgd266+180),这份HPS是同新的OCBC房屋贷款金额、年限同步。
致电CPF,告知他们我家有买AVIVA的保单,之前是等同HPS的,DBS银行贷款强制配套的时候买的,已经购买了3年…
CPF的答复:aviva保单是跟dbs贷款在一起的,取消dbs贷款后,已经看不到aviva的保单信息。如果我们继续需要aviva保单作为HPS,需要保险公司跟CPF重新确认,然后OA账户扣除的保费可以退回的。
再打电话去aviva,他们的答复居然是他们没有做任何操作,不知道为什么CPF看不到,可能是我们换银行出现的问题,要我直接同CPF解决…
试问,我是如何解决这个问题?二话不说,不用解决了,直接停掉。因为只能本人才能终止保单。我先生需要另外再次致电提出申请…

至此,本应该在2月就可以提出终止的保险,到6月才终止。

1,用自己的保险替换HPS
这个可以由保险公司代办,通常是新签保单的时候才可以。
或者可以自己去CPF网站上,登录进去,找一个Opt-Out HPS的Link,填上相关保险信息,提交就可以了。

2,HPS跟自己的人寿保险相比较
HPS优势是自动从OA扣保费,基本上不用担心要记着去付保费。
自己的人寿保险的优势,首先保障范围要广一些,保障配套可以根据实际需求灵活搭配,还有可以一份保单保两个人。保费是用现金支付,要记得及时付保费,或者使用信用卡/Giro自动支付。

出事赔钱的时候,HPS只是简单的不用继续支付房贷了。自己的人寿保险是赔付一笔钱,比如30万,这笔钱可以继续慢慢支付房贷,同时可以用于家里的其他需求,当然也可以一笔钱把房贷都付完。


HPS跟私人房贷保障计划的目的都是一样的,保障利益不重复选其一足够。私人房贷保障通常会加入对于重病的保障(HPS只保障死亡和完全残废),这样保费通常会比HPS来得高。AVIVA保单已经终止那就看看自己的其他人寿保单是否有保障重病的成分作相应调整或重新规划。跟OCBC签了新配套CPF BOARD没有信息,应当是OCBC不会去主动更新CPF BOARD(AVIVA也不会做,因为AVIVA跟CPF BOARD没关系),但在DBS, 因为DBS和AVIVA是合约合作关系,DBS都会通知CPF BOARD你所拥有的AVIVA私人保险计划。

提到的这份保单,就是单纯的人寿,没有任何附加项。这类在银行操作的保单,也没有任何人跟踪,只要扣得到钱就好。我家在ocbc 和uob两家买的保单,也是同样情况。

我只能是一次又一次的打客服电话咨询。如果客服人员能用心点专业点,即使他们无法直接更新cpf信息,至少能告诉我如何解决吧。就如你上面留言所说,如何网上操作更新…要知道aviva 和cpf 的电话是多么难打通呀! 所有的耐心都磨完了。


我跟楼主一样 我当时跟dbs贷款的时候也买了aviva的 因为是pr身份所以不能买HPS
现在打算refinance 去别的银行 打算直接停掉aviva 不过不知道能不能申请HPS


本意没想停的,但是我总不能拿两个hps吧。那个钱,可以在市面上选更合适的人寿配套呀。

Cpf hps应该是自动的,强制性的。需要申请吗? 你只是需要告知cover%吧 …

那如果换了SC呢 refinance的时候可以申请HPS吗

有hdb的,都要有的。


HDB or EC 只要有贷款,HPS是默认的,除非拿别的符合要求的人寿保单去匹配才能waive


奇怪 我记得当时申请dbs贷款的时候被告知不能买HPS 所以才买了aviva的然后申请HPS waive 是不是这样的呢?


如果用CPF OA的钱支付房贷的话,HPS就是必须的,然后可以用自己的保险替换。
如果不用CPF的钱支付房贷的话,HPS就不是必须的了,可以申请,也可以直接用自己的保险。

QCan I apply for Home Protection Scheme (HPS) exemption if I wish to use my CPF savings to pay the monthly housing instalments?ANo. You have to apply for HPS first if you are planning to use your CPF savings for your monthly housing loan instalments. You can then apply for HPS exemption after you have obtained legal ownership of the flat. HPS exemption is subject to the Board’s approval. You may apply to be exempted online via my cpf Online Services.

QWhat happens to my Home Protection Scheme (HPS) exemption if I have refinanced my outstanding loan? AIf you have refinanced your housing loan, you will need to re-apply for HPS exemption. This ensures that your existing insurance is still sufficient to cover your refinanced loan. Even if there are no changes to your housing loan amount, your existing insurance may not cover you adequately as a result of higher mortgage interest rates. Therefore, the Board will need to re-assess the adequacy of your insurance policies again.QWhat happens to my Home Protection Scheme (HPS) exemption if the insurance polic(ies) used for the exemption is discontinued or altered?AYour exemption from HPS may be revoked if any of the insurance policies used for the exemption is discontinued or altered. Subsequently, the Board would extend a HPS cover to you based on the declared percentage that you were exempted for, subject to the Board’s terms and conditions. If you wish to be exempted from HPS again, you will need to reapply for it.QCan I apply for partial Home Protection Scheme (HPS) exemption?ANo, you have to be either covered under HPS or be exempted from HPS. You cannot be exempted from and be insured under HPS at the same time.

However, you can apply for exemption according to your share of servicing the housing loan with CPF savings and/or cash. For example, if your share of cover is 40%, you may apply for 40% exemption from HPS. Your co-owner must either be covered under HPS or exempted from HPS for at least 60% of the outstanding housing loan.

The total share of insurance coverage declared by joint-owners should at least add up to 100% of your housing loan. You are encouraged to be insured based on your share of financial responsibility to service your housing loan. This is to ensure that you have sufficient insurance policy sum assured to settle your outstanding housing loan in the event of a claim.

我有朋友买公寓也差点被强制捆绑了的


当时我们拿房屋贷款也考虑了dbs,锁定5年的,本来是很想拿这个锁定5年,后来经纪(也是我们的朋友)帮我们把这个保单跟普通的hps的差价算出来,还有银行利息的差价,还有律师费的差价,反正全部算出来之后dbs的贵比较多,就木有选择dbs了,靠谱的经纪还是很重要的


的确是贵很多… 谁要我家曾经就只认dbs呢? 就是花钱买教训。我家当时是可以选择利率1.38%加全年保险1200++, 或者是1.48%+ cpf hps。然后banker和保险经纪就不停的说cpf hps怎么不好怎么不好,商业的优点多多…所以就变成这样了!


哇,我们当时木有那个利息高0.1可以选普通hps的,不然我就选dbs了,可以5年锁定不用烦,可惜当时木有,弄得我只好放弃它了


没理由不选HPS啊 可以用OA还不用自己给cash 周末见UOB的 好好问清楚这个

否则就高一个点…


我们那时是5年锁定,但是木有那个高一0.1个点的,如果有,我也愿意,至少5年不用操心,对于我这样的人很好


我一直不喜欢买保险。自己存钱应付危机。买了保险,报销的时候才会发现,什么都不可以报销。。。牙齿痛啊。。都不可以报销。还理由很多。


没你说的那么邪乎。
保险可以保什么不可以保什么买之前要看好合约滴。。。
或许有些从业人员素质不够好会说得天花乱坠,不过顾客自己最少要看一遍合同然后不懂的提出问题吧。
很多时候我就是看了T&C觉得不划算所以没买。
但是住院和意外这两个基本是必须的。
你只要中一次就是省了好多年的保费。
当然,你也要看清楚人家保什么病。难得的比较容易保,易得的一般不保或保费高。而且需要长期治疗的一般就保发病那一次给一次钱。一段时间之后的就不给了。
